Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire Information

West Yorkshire Ale is from a well known and highly regarded brewery in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. Full chewy malt flavor and charecter, but finishes dry, producing famously balanced beers. Moderate nutty and stone-fruit esters.

Alcohol tolerance Approx: 9%

Fermentation Temps: 64-72 ' F

Flocculation: High

Apparent Attenuation: 67-71%

This was one of Wyeasts VSS strains.

It makes an excellent Yorkshire Bitter.

I've heard alot of people getting bad flocculation, Not here.

This yeast drops like a rock for me.

I've only made 2 diffrent recipies with this style.

Bitter and a beautiful Black Country Mild.

If you can get it, USE IT!!
