Information
Produces classic British bitters, rich complex flavor
profile, clean, light malt character, low fruitiness, low esters, well
balanced.
Alcohol tolerance Approx: 10%
Fermentation Temps: 62-72° F
Flocculation: Medium-Low
Apparant Attenuation: 77%
I've used this yeast many times.
My suggestions are as follows:
1. By the 125ML package, Don't even think about a 50ML.
2. Absolutly make a good size starter at least a quart for 5
gallons of beer.
3. Stay with in the temps for this yeast.
If you do not follow these directions you will have problems
with this yeast.
I recommend building at least 1 quart starters for Ales.
I recommend 1-Gallon starters for lager.
Note you will pour the liquid off and just pitch the
slurry!!!
